The right support should help you live with greater choice, confidence and connection. Benevida Services provides personalised disability support across Melbourne’s south east, shaped around your goals, routines, culture and preferences.
Whether you need help with everyday activities, building new skills or getting out into the community, our team will listen first and work with you to develop support that feels practical, respectful and genuinely yours.
Every person has different strengths, goals and ways of doing things. We take time to understand what matters to you before support begins. Together, we agree on how you would like to be supported, what you want to work towards and what a good day looks like for you.
Our role is not to take over. It is to provide the right level of assistance while supporting your independence, decision-making and connection with the people and places that matter to you.
Respectful support with personal routines and everyday activities, based on your preferences and the level of assistance you need. This may include meal preparation, personal care, organising your day and building routines that support greater independence.
Support to take part in social, recreational and community activities that are meaningful to you. This may include attending appointments, joining a group, visiting local places, participating in events or building confidence in the community. Practical support to develop skills for everyday life at your own pace. This may include using public transport, planning meals, managing household routines, communicating with others, making choices and working towards personal goals.
Assistance to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. Depending on your needs and funding, support may include light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, organising household tasks and learning new ways to manage them independently.
Safe, respectful transport support to help you attend appointments, activities, education, work or community events. Transport arrangements are planned with you and must align with your support needs and funding arrangement.
Help to understand your NDIS plan, compare providers, establish supports and build confidence in managing your plan. Support Coordination is delivered as a separate service and should link to Benevida Services ’s dedicated Support Coordination page.
We may provide planned, short-term support in a participant’s home or community when usual support arrangements are unavailable or an informal carer needs a break. The arrangement is discussed in advance and is subject to participant needs, worker availability, risk assessment and the applicable funding arrangement. Contact our team to discuss what support is required and whether Benevida Services can safely and appropriately provide it.
Good support begins with listening. We take the time to understand your goals, communication preferences, culture and daily routines before matching you with a support worker.
